Race for the Festival 2021
In the five years from our Festival launch date of January 18th 2020 we aspire to raise £2.25m to support the work of the Freemasons’ charity, the MCF, or Masonic Charitable Foundation. The Foundation uses the funds we raise to support Freemasons and their families in times of financial hardship, and, at any time, other worthwhile causes without specific links to Freemasonry.
Raising money for charities can sometimes be difficult, so we are making it easy for you!
We are organising three virtual events of 5K and 10K and 50k ride. In support of the 2025 Festival, you can complete one, two or three events!
The events can be walked, run, cycled, danced, anything really! Even better, no matter how you complete the distance, you will earn a medal!
Entry for each event is £20, with all proceeds for the Festival.

Entries for the 5, 10 and 50k are closed, but an additional event, the Free Wheelers 100, has been added. This is a group cycle ride between masonic halls covering 100k! More details can be found here, and registration is made using the form below.
How does it work?
Registration for the 5, 10 and 50k events is now closed.
You can register here for the Free Wheelers 100, which has a closing date of 15th May.
- You complete your 5, 10 or 50k race or races between 1st and 8th May 2021. You can choose your own route, or even use a treadmill or stationary bike!
- You upload your time to our results page by 10th May 2021.
- If you successfully complete your event, we send you your completion medal.
- The Free Wheelers 100 is organised centrally by Andy Bagworth.

When will I receive my medal (and other items)?
Your medals will be sent out after the week after the main event day.

Can I order an event T- shirt?
